I’m a fifty-something wanna-be writer and I’m constantly trying to reinvent myself. I’m fiercely devoted to my family. My husband and I run a business together. Our daughter and grandson live with us (our grandson has significant special needs) and our son owns a home nearby. I’m pretty darn proud of them and hope that their life journey bring them happiness every day. Our household is ruled by our grandson Ben, with some help from our lab mix Duke and our daughter’s lab mix Sosha. I love to read and write. I don’t think I’m very good at either. Writing is like therapy to me. My religion is not perfect, but it guides me every day. I’m a constantly evolving work in progress, always trying to be better. I started collecting antique photos a few years ago and love to give a home to those abandoned family members who ended up at antique stores and flea markets. My husband and I love to find and wander through antique stores. I love horses and I love history and would love to start a research project that combines the two. I started reading the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder when I was eleven. The books and their author have helped mold me into the person I am today and I hope that I’ve helped in some little way to preserve her legacy.
