  1. That innocent little face was never in trouble?
    My third child was destined to be Justin if it was a boy – they were all “Fred” before that – but when he came we took one look and said, “No – he’s a John.”
    His brother, who came along unexpectedly seven years, later is Daniel Edward Geoffrey – the only one of ours with three names – but Edward is a grandpa and his godfather, while Geoffrey is the other grandpa and his Dad, so we packed a lot into them.

  2. Our mother gave us all the same middle initial. My little brother did not like his entire name, so he had nothing to fall back on.
