Simple Sunday – Christmas Edition

I thought I’d share this lovely photo with you on this week before Christmas. It’s not dated and I would love any of you to give me your thoughts on when you might think it is. I’m thinking early 1900s?

Dreaming of a white Christmas,

  1. That's a tough one…I'm seeing some small mercury balls like my dad had on his tree in the 20's (I have some of them) and I'm seeing some ornaments that were on our tree in the very early 50's (or so it appears to me) which could have been some from my parents past. I'm going to say around 1920.

  3. Looks to be early 1900's to me too but I am no good at that sort of thing! A white Christmas is probably just a dream at this point! Doesn't look like we're going to get any more snow than we did last week! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!

  5. What a lovely photo. I would guess early 1900s as well, but I am no expert, that's for sure. Merry Christmas to you and your family!! 🙂
